I started my session with Bethany as a true beginner. After one hour, I was able to identify products I could purchase and I knew how to speak the language of GIS enough to carry on conversations with vendors, etc.. It was a valuable jumpstart in my knowledge base.

Bethany was super patient with my repetitive questioning for my class projects (GIS and geostatistics) and showed me WAY more than the tutorials did. I have signed up with her multiple times and am grasping the stuff I need to faster than I expected. She is showing me some stuff that is imperative in what I need to know moving forward for my future classes as well. I loved playing with mapping stuff before I started the assignments- and then I hated GIS in my class due to the overwhelming confusion- and she has stopped my hate for it in its tracks.
