Incredible Tutor for both PreCal & Calculus

My son, a senior in high school, was extremely fortunate to have Bill tutor him in both Honors PreCal and Honors Calculus. He tutored him twice a week during the second semester of Calc.Today, I'm sending Bill a big virtual hug, because my son~with time and hard work~was able to achieve a final grade in Honors Calc that he didn't think he'd be able to achieve. Bill is extremely organized, dedicated, and goes the extra mile for those he tutors. My son struggled on Calc assessments, so Bill made him some practice assessments to help him gain more confidence in taking assessments and to help him gain familiarity with course content. My son was discouraged sometimes about his performance, but Bill was encouraging and reminded our son that he is a capable student. Our son made a 50% on a test, but~with Bill's help~ was able to get an 80% on the next test. Bill was wonderful to give an update after each lesson re: what was accomplished, what still needed to be worked on, and he would make sure my son had whiteboards and recorded lessons to review. Bill is a gifted tutor and a caring individual and was always prompt, courteous, and knowledgable. This is why we sought him out again after he first tutored our son in PreCal. We are incredibly grateful that he helped our son to successfully complete the courses and we hope our son has learned a lesson he will carry with him to college. When you need assistance, you must seek it and be willing to work. We highly recommend Bill as a tutor!

We had the pleasure of working with Bill this summer while my daughter was studying for the SAT. We’ve been through a lot of tutors, and I can say that none have been so thoughtful, careful, intuitive and really engaging, as Bill. He got to know her strengths and places where he should focus in the first session. Really amazing how much he seems to care about the progress and true understanding of his students. I can’t say enough great things. No idea how she will do, but it was time well spent!
