Pierre Gasly, 29, collected all 22 of Alpine's constructors' championship points in the 2025 season and he is paired once again with Franco Colapinto for what will be his fourth campaign with the French team.

Colapinto, 22, replaced Australian Jack Doohan at Alpine after six races in 2024 but the Argentine failed to score a point in the 18 grands prix he competed in.

With design legend Adrian Newey as team principal for 2026, Aston Martin have stuck with Fernando Alonso and Canadian Lance Stroll for a fourth consecutive season.

Alonso, who will be 45 in July, finished 10th in the drivers' championship after a decent points-scoring run during the European leg of the season, while 27-year-old Stroll finished four places lower in 14th.

The Spaniard also dominated his team-mate in qualifying in 2025, outqualifying Stroll at all 24 race weekends.

With Sauber becoming Audi in 2026, Gabriel Bortoleto and Nico Hulkenberg have been chosen as the driver line-up for the German team's debut.

Brazilian Bortoleto, 21, had a solid rookie campaign in 2025 and finished a career-best sixth at the Hungarian Grand Prix in August.

Meanwhile, Hulkenberg, 38, ended a 15-year wait for a podium when he finished third at the British Grand Prix after 239 race starts.
