Tavu Cloud is a brand of Finnish hosting service provider Multim Ltd., which boasts more than ten years of industry experience. This provider strives to satisfy customers by simplifying cloud hosting services, and it uses energy-efficient servers combined with clean wind power to make cloud computing sustainable and green.
The Tavu Cloud website supports the English and Suomi (Finnish) languages, but not all pages are available in English.
Features and Ease of Use
Tavu Cloud offers nine HDD cloud hosting packages, four SSD cloud hosting packages, and eight NVMe cloud hosting packages. The HDD cloud hosting packages provide you with:
- 20 GB to 100 GB storage
- 512 MB to 16 GB memory
- 1-core or 2-core CPU
- 500 GB to 6,000 GB storage
You have the flexibility to use and manage your cloud hosting in various ways, whether it’s a single VPS or a complex server infrastructure. With the block storage feature, you can easily attach and detach block storage devices, while the snapshot feature allows you to back up large data sets without consuming excessive bandwidth.
Pricing and Support
Tavu Cloud’s cloud hosting packages are competitively priced. According to the pricing page, you can only pay in euros by credit/debit card on a monthly basis, but more options may be available once you’ve registered. Finnish customers can buy credits in advance by placing deposits with Finnish banks.
Although there are no refunds for unused credits, new customers do get a few euros worth of free credits to try the services.
Few support details are given until you have registered, but you can contact this company via telephone (with a per-minute charge for technical support), email, or online form. Unfortunately, I failed to secure any pre-sales response. Self-support is similarly disappointing since the knowledge base contains only four entries:
